Hyderabad Traffic Police Clarifies: No Discounts On Pending Challans

Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a clarification regarding a message circulating on the internet claiming huge discounts on pending traffic challans. The message, which has been spreading rapidly, prompted the police to step in and set the record straight.

According to P Vishwa Prasad, Additional Commissioner of Police (traffic), “Any claim of discount on pending traffic e-challans is fake, mischievous and fraught with fraudulent motives. The citizens are requested not to believe or act upon any such fake and misleading claim/information.

He said all the official announcements regarding anything were made exclusively on the Telangana State Police website and its official social media accounts.
